Just wanted to say hi. I'm a refugee from another gay forum which seems to have gone down the tubes. Too much ugliness, too many people leaving. I'm hoping to find a more congenial community here. I'm living in Boca Raton, planning to move back to New York soon, because New York! I miss it.

Welcome! I haven't been here that long, but I'm finding that people here are supportive and friendly. I know what you mean by unfriendly sites - I was on a writing site for a long time that turned hostile and competitive in a not-so-nice way.
