I don't know anything about anything. Bah.

Quote:Well that's pretty much what I do on my runs, listen to music and eventually my mind goes blank.

Well I think by August I should be able to swim half way decent...

So the triathlon will be on August 13 at 6 PM in the evening... it is 1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike and 2 mile run. I definitely will have the running down and if I keep up on my eating and keep running and so on I think I can get down to 165 by then, not 100% sure but at any rate I will be in much better shape by then for sure...and hopefully I will feel better about how I look and build confidence... I think a lot of my problem stem there... among other things but, just have to try to be better than I am today as person.

axle2152 Best wishes on the triathlon. You still have a lot of time to prepare yourself. I'm positively sure that you'll be completely ready to ace the race by then.

You look fine now. But I know you will get fitter, stronger and muscular as time goes by because you are training for running, cycling and swimming.

To join a triathlon takes a lot of confidence and courage. I'm very happy for you and proud of you. Go kick ass.

I'm thinking that I don't want to work another 4 1/2 hours today!

My upper body is still sore from Monday and going to do it all again tomorrow... I'm doing good with running...I can go the distance, but need to work on my speed and I am slowly getting better. I think here pretty soon I'll be able to start doing wind sprints and that should help a lot... in case those reading don't know what that is... you sprint for 30-60 second intervals and stop and walk, sprint, walk, and you repeat that.

However I can tell I am getting in better shape, my resting pulse is way down from what it used to be and well all my pants that fit well are loose and probably in another month I'm probably going to need a new belt....Then new clothes...which I can't really afford right now so I may just have to look goofy for a while.

One of my goals this year is to finally learn to drive.

I've not learnt yet because a) never really needed to b) epilepsy

...however now that I live 4 hours away from my hometown (by train anyway), I'd like to drive so I can pop home on odd weekends, plus it's just nice to go see friends and explore (I'd guess it is anyway). Also my Mum will have to go through some treatment for a while and I want to be able to nip down and see her easily.

My train journeys are persistently overcrowded or late or I end up having unfortunate accidents, like when I had to push my bag into the overhead rack and my shower gel shot out, landing in someone's lap (awkward). Or my journey home at New Year, packed in like sardines, unable to move and someone's crutch stored above me dripping muddy water onto my head.

I've been seizure free for over a year and a half and feel fully in control now I'm on the right mess and know what caused them (stress, lack of sleep). So, I can apply for my provisional licence and did so. Today I got the papers back so I can authorise disclosure of my medical history.

I'm not sure whether I'll get it, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I'm on a roll this week with asshole-ry.

People...ignorance...ilogical thinking...excessive whining...those things frustrate me to no end.

I was never good to deal with frustration..
