I just want to give a thanks to the friendly guys here who I'm having PM conversations with.

I couldn't wait to turn 40, and now I look forward to 50.

Interesting comment. Am now 51 and honestly believe that I have only had a few ages that really meant anything to me.

I moved around a lot as a kid, so I did not feel grounded anywhere. At 23, with university graduation behind me, I felt that perhaps I was now an adult.

I was 37 for the longest period of time. It was the year that the great weight of depression left me. It was also the year that I said I became a man.

When I turned 51, for some reason I threw away 37 and became 51. This is the year that I came out after years of fantasies.

I look back and don't feel any other age than those listed.

And will jump in on the unofficial crush thread, uneunsae looks way too yummy. *sigh*

And for giving thanks, I would say it is everyone on these forums. I have seen little of the venom that normally populates internet forums.

I belong to several and for some strange reason, regardless of the shared interest, some conversations inevitably devolve to arguments. Why?
