Hangul is extremely easy. I'm sure you will learn it well. Smile

While Hangul is easy, pronunciation is a bit tricky. I learnt it half way and lose interest immediately since I'm not into Korean as much as Japanese language. Rolleyes
Btw,the two share quite a number of words, with resemblance pronunciation,so it was an interesting experience learning beginner Korean. Baer

I'd like to master Japanese first of course,to watch anime without subtitle and read raw manga, hahaha!
On practical side,Arabic,Mandarin,French,Spanish, and Portuguese would be useful for travelling~ Wink
Any other language used by more than a country? Beside English and Malay which I'm already fluent in. Cool

I would learn to speak Japanese - I started in high school and wish I continued with it to be honest Sad

I learn to love it more and more.

I must take for granted that Korean is easy to pronounce for me. Japanese is much easier for English speakers though. There are less sounds overall.

Once anime is not popular anymore, no one will want to learn Japanese or any Asian language. Just like 20 years ago. No one liked anything Korean or Japanese. It's all a trend. So sad. Sad

Quite a few business uni degrees now are business studies with Japanese as they predict it will be the future of business!

I have an International Business degree, and if anything it will be Mandarin, not Japanese at all.

I'd learn Latin if I could choose just one language so then I can actually understand gigantic English words since I'll know why the prefixes and suffixes are what they are. Also, it'll be easier to try to learn other descendant languages with that knowledge.

I'm going to be the person who is different and say I would want to learn either Ancient Mayan, Ancient Aztec, or Ancient Egyptian. Why? Just because I think it would be fun to speak a dead language. If I had to choose and actual half-way useful language, then I would have to say Greek.
