MrMom Wrote:Hey, cheer up. My 4 year old daughter wants to enter me in a contest she saw on some daytime TV show - the prize being a complete makeover. She told me,. "They could fix your hair daddy, and show you some nicer clothes to wear"...
That's actually pretty hilarious:biggrin:, wait till she a teen though, the blows to your ego then will be 10x:biggrin:,and it was just a little self-deprecating humor, I wasn't being too serious

is there anyone you would jump in front of a bullet for?
Do you remember your first kiss?
If you can go back in time in your life, what would you change?

1. How big of a bullet are we talking?, In all seriousness though, The Dahlia Llama comes to mind first.
2. Haven't had my first kiss yet :frown:

3.My life has been pretty good so far that I cant think of much to change

sorry I guess I'm just being nosey now..
Who was your first crush and do you still think about him/her?
If you found a wallet with a lot of money in it, would you keep it or take it?
Would you help an old lady cross the road?

Actually If I could go back, I probably would of told myself to pay better attention in math during grade school and junior high:biggrin:

The question about the cat/dog race, was meant to say, that if you were a dog person, which dog would you want/prefer?

And the spiders/snakes/needles was supposed to be if you had any phobias and how you felt about those 3.

Oh, okay thanks, now to answer your questions
1. Well I really like Dobermans, there pretty cool dogs, and my great uncle had a female Doberman named princess who was probably the sweetest dog you ever met, but she had to be put down not long ago due to old age and cancer:frown:, but besides Dobermans I really like pitts too.

2.Like I said before, spider's snakes and needles in particular don't bother me at all, now centipedes on the other hand, those little fuckers creep me out to no end(everybody else in the house hates them too)and I have a "kill on sight" policy with those.

Oh, and this isn't really a phobia per say, but I could never watch any scenes of toe/finger nails being pulled/ripped out, I just have to look away whenever something like that is being shown

Ugh. My dad always has dobermans and they're always crazy. Definately because of my dad and his ways.
He makes them crazy. The first we had got epilepsy and it eventually got so bad that we had her put down. It was pretty scary to see her fits as a child. Nightmarish.
The second was fed all kinds of crabfood. As in humanfood. So she lost large chunks of her fur and was eventually put down because of cancer. Probably also caused by her abominable diet.
The third and fourth, who are both still alive, are nice and all. They're both relatively young and very different. The male used to be a crazy dog, belonging to my grandmother (dad's mum). Being an elderly lady, she couldn't control such a strong and wild dog, so she delivered it to my father and he was supposed to have it put down, but after having it for a week he taught it (with an electric collar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - which is illegal in Denmark!) to behave and it is now a decent very social dog. He likes to be petted. Alot. So he comes up to you and sticks his head forward and awaits the petting. If you pet him, he will follow you all around, so long as you pet him.
The lady is nuts for her football (punctured soccerball) and will carry it with her everywhere. She presses the ball against you because she wants you to grab hold of it and pull with her. Or on occasion she will drop it at your feet and have you throw it away. She loves her ball. She loves all those balls. My dad is quite violent with the dogs, in his play. He doesn't beat them, but he plays very aggressively, literally lifting the dog off the ground by grabbing hold of the ball and spinning around, with the dog hanging by the other end in midair.... So.... Those are dobermans, to me. I prefer normal non-crazy healthy dogs. Oh and also, supposedly, dobermans are very inbred around here Sad

So, why pitts?
