I was JUST telling my partner before that scene that I still didn't really believe Eugene. He never really SAID anything that indicated he knew technical things and they just kind of glazed over that so much. It was also unlikely it would all get cured soon because no zombies = no show :p
I really love Carol and Daryl so this episode was my dream...and they are my favorite characters. I sooooooooooooooooo want them both back for season six so I am hoping nothing happens to either one of them....
I kinda liked how slow this episode was...it helps set up the action stuff to come...

That's a good point and last night I had the same thought. It surprised me when I heard Carol had "been there". I thought they had gotten a lot farther away for some reason....but then again...where are they gonna go?
Maybe heading to a less populous state might be a good idea but there would be less food to scavenge...

It's my understanding that Daryl is not in the comic book, but created for the TV show.
As for Norman Reedus and his not wanting it to happen, there was an article about Daryl getting this news, and stating that since season 2 or 3, playing his character as a gay man who has never acted on his feelings, hence, a virgin.
