One does not have to be an old geezer to enjoy museums! I'm 29, and that's much more preferable (to me) than hitting the clubs or "partying".

Okay Evan, now that we know you're along for the trip and don't know much about art, maybe we can help find other things that *would* interest you? What towns are you going to? What are your interests? Spain is really a great country with lots to see and do.

Also a museum lover. In fact I spend quite a lot of time in the Seattle Art Museum each year and have since I emancipated from my parents at 16. It's one of my favorite places.

I don't hate museums, just to be clear Actually I quite like a few. Not an art kind of guy, though. And if I'm going to Spain, I'd be more interested in some of the more adventurous stuff, is all I'm saying.

As for where we're going - looks like it's gonna be one of the places along the coast pretty much built for partying Europeans. They do wanna visit Barcelona too, so that's cool!

I'm 25 and I want to visit museums (my husbear of 55 doesn't XD).
There's nothing wrong with seeing sights other than the inside of a beer bottle. Also, Spain is huge by danish standards.
In Barcelona, don't waste all your time in the tourist trap that is the "Ramblas". When I was in Barcelona I stayed at the Hotel Omn, right next to the street Av. Diagonal. This is where all THE shops are! The Bvlgari boutique there is a bit of a museum in itself
OH and check out the Gaudi buildings, particular the Sagrada Familia. That's a church thingie. It's STUNNING.
