Another testimony of Hell!

The Bible was written by men...not God...men with EGOS......and Leviticus was smoking crack or whatever the fuck they smoked back then. He reminds me of Michelle Bachmann or Rick Santorum and what they would write if they were writing the Bible today

Too late for the zealot.

But you don't look like a Jesus freak whatsoever. Jesus wouldn't be a fan of the modern interpretation of the Bible and would be much more loving. He would also reject the notion of a hateful God. The God of the Bible was not the God of Jesus, but that of politicians.

BUT

You guys raised some really interesting points here and I can't help myself (even though I'm no scholar or theologian).

I couldn't disagree more with MikeW.

When it comes to sin, the number of biblical references is irrelevant. One would have been enough. And the existing references are perfectly clear, especially Leviticus.

Moreover you seem to imply that some sins are less serious than others. According to our laws, some criminal offenses are indeed more serious than others (e.g. murder is worse than theft) but we're talking about divine justice here, not human justice. In God's eyes, all sin is equally detestable. This may seem strange at first but it gives all sinners an equal chance to repent and be saved.

Quotation #2 is pure moral relativism. Pope Francis and Pope Benedict have spoken vehemently against it and rightly so because that's what got us, humans, in trouble to begin with. The Garden of Eden is all about relativism: humans eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and wanting to determine what's right or wrong. It's not for us to decide, we need outside rules to guide us and keep us in order.
The problem with what you're saying is, you ASSUME that Catholic (and other established) exegesis of Scripture are ACCURATE. Are they?

Since you reaffirm Leviticus, I strongly suggest you watch the Matthew Vine video I posted above.

The nature of "sin" is a whole other issue. Understand what Vines is saying. The tree of Christianity is bearing bad fruit. Why? Because it has misinterpreted and misunderstood the words written in a book. There is no where in the Scripture that says it is "sinful" for one man to love another. Quite the contrary.

Mister Love.............
Stop running around in rhetorical circles chasing your tail and
PROVE ONE THING YOU ARE SAYING besides the obvious that you are neither a theologian or a scholar... read the little words on my signature line. I didn't put them there because they looked cute.

Funny you mention that you thought of not commenting anymore on this thread...
BUT YOU STARTED THIS THREAD with your ridiculous videos you are trying to pass off as proof of hell.

How do you reconcile this?

I just posted a new thread about using the Bible right back at those who say homosexuality is a sin. THEY are the ones who are breaking three Commandments and committing three of the 7 Deadly Sin when they say that.
But WE are in the clear because they are flat-out lying about God making homosexuality a sin. NOWHERE in the Bible does it state that except in reference to what HUMANS made a Law. It's not listed in the 7 Deadly Sins, nor is it in the Ten Commandments.

It's not a sin, so there is NOTHING to worry about.

Triple thanks Richard.
I've spent most of my teen and adult life reconciling with the Bible and religion. In the process I learned lots more about them than most who say they live by the bible and call themselves christians.

It pisses me off anytime a hetero or a gay starts throwing around the 'homosexuality is sin' bullshit.... which is pretty obvious from the way I acted here.

You want a testimony of hell? Isn't it enough that earth is the hell itself? You don't need anymore proof.
