I just want to add that what Buzzer brought up is not a "meaningless distinction".
I'm engaged. If I hit on you, then I'm an asshole and you should kick me to the curb. Even if all you want is easy sex, I'm a bad bet because the probability of getting involved in some soap opera shitstorm is high.
But consider this: My BF and I were having problems, we went into couples therapy and were working our asses off to keep what we had and build on it. So this creep starts hitting on me because he knows I'm stressed and it's so hard and he only wants to comfort me...
There's your distinction...
