thinness and being gay
#21
If thinness is gay, then I'm getting straighter and straighter as the years go by.

I have nearly always ran on the narrow to underweight side.

That is not an active choice thing, it is something that just happens

I do not want to be thin - especially now that I'm technically underweight.

Over the past 2-3 years I lost about 50 pounds of muscle - hard earned muscle - I have the body type that requires thrice the amount of work to build a bit of muscle. But apparently its real easy to lose.

I so rarely care about my self image - meh about the body, meh about the age - just meh. I guess I kinda sorta like me and if no one else does well that is there problem.

Up until my thirties I had to fight to stay at 130 lbs and could eat anything. IF I could find them, I wore a 27" waist jean. Now if I just look at ice cream, I gain 5 lbs. Wink ... and it's more like a 34" waist jean. Sad I don't wear them as skin tight as I used to either.

I prefer men with some padding.... All bones and skin and maybe muscle isn't that comfortable to rest my head on.....

I'm 5'5" and 108 and am very thin. I wouldn't ever want to be any thinner. At 5'7", I imagine that you'll honestly get sick die at 90 lbs.

At 5'7 and 90lbs my bmi would be at around 14, which is a little bit
higher than bill kaulitz bmi and he manages to survive. I'm already a chunky butt/thick person @ 19 years old and it sucks really bad. I'm 144lbs and 5'7 and have a thick 28.5 inch waist. I used to be 165lbs because of antipsychotics, but now I'm on the way down despite eating a lot of whatever I crave which happens to be mostly healthy.

Actually, a majority of anorexic men are gay. That's a statistic. The things gay men find attractive are often different to what straight women do. Standards of beauty are different across the world, so it makes sense they'd be different in different communities too. The LGBT community has always been very image-conscious and so it makes sense that dysmorphia and issues relating to self-image would be more prevalent.

I'm 121 lbs and 6'1. I love cooking (really fatty curries full of coconut milk and butter too!) and eat plenty, and luckily I don't gain weight. However, I also love being skinny and would feel somewhat devastated if my metabolism ever slowed down. If this happened I'd probably replace the curry for salad.

I'll never think there is any god watching over me because I had an ordeal with my mother where I need up hitting her in the face I ended up on antipsychotics which caused my to gain 30lbs and which made me overweight. @ 18 I had a 32 inch waist, but I lost most of the weight after switching drugs and getting off of them. I have a decent metabolism normally, but one fast enough to make thin.

Coconuts are natural laxatives, and butter... well... it just greases the runway. It's no wonder you're only 121 lbs! Wink
