The trouble with religions that cause so much trouble is that they've got things back-ass-wards. They have put belief ahead of truth and then seek to make their beliefs true by any means possible, lies, murders, extortion, corrupting the laws and courts--- any way possible.
It doesn't matter how many millions believe something to be true they cannot make it true.
To believe in things that are true you need to seek truths and once you find them, believe them.... not the other way around.[/COLOR][/SIZE]
Pix exactly, religion shouldn't be used as pass to say hateful things to others... I thought the whole idea of a religion is to believe In somethin that is holy and sacred to them, now preaching to othersabout how they should live their lives is not right whatever the reason , thats like a dictatorship telling you what you can and cannot do and also telling you exactly how to do it ...now I used to love the idea of a religion (ok instead of religion I'm gonna use faith)something to look up to and believe in when times are hard or something to guide you through life but now I don't see it that way . That's not true of all religions or religious people. I consider myself to be very religious but I go about it a very different way than most. I put truth ahead of beliefs and there's no conflict for me. And I don't have to convince anyone my beliefs are right and theirs are wrong --- unless they get in my face with thiers and after 12 years of indoctrination in Catholic schools I can tear them apart with my hands tied behind my back...
Im sorry memechose I never meant to insult religions, religious people or you. I only meant to show examples of how a religion goes aggainst the very morals that they stand by but because of my very poor word choice and lack of thought of who I might be harming with my anger fueled words. Due to my lack of experience with religion and religious people that is what I've grown to see throughout my life which in turn has made me biased which isnt the way to explain my point, I should have mentioned all this when I first posted that comment which is a mistake thtamade ive made and hopefully won't ever make again. I do apologise again for my immature ignorance to others.
