Homophobia in Vidoe Games

I play video games casually. I mostly play league of legends. On the loading screen it says something like "homophobic and racial slurs will not be tolerated and punishable." I was really happy and surprised. Its crazy how things are today, I mean crazy good. I played this one game called mass effect and you can be in a gay relationship with another dude. I just wanted to share this

Nop, I got totally bored of knowing everything about every sim and controlling their minds .

League is generally good with that stuff...

Loads of games have gay options now, which is really uplifting. Mass Effect, Skyrim, Fable.. most of the big "choose your own destiny" games let your character be gay.

Considering that Sims 1 was launched in early 2000 and the series has always had the open option for gay romance and gay civil unions, I think it will be looked back on as being really ahead of its time. Many people playing it were still (or are still) years or decades away from those rights actually existing in the countries they were playing the game in.

were there options for gay marriage? I played a few of the early versions of SIMS, but don't remember that at all.

I have played some of Mass Effect but have not got to the gay relationship part yet.

its really is amazing how things have come along , if the game programmers don't move with the youth of today then they wont buy their games , although in the sims my nephew found that he could drown the family, gas them, and burn them alive !!!!! ... I now fear he is a sociopath bless him
