Which is why I'm appreciating my 20's as much as I can but from what I've heard, older people have a lot of experience and know exactly what they're doing. I hope by the time I'm in my 60s I'll have a partner with whom I could have amazing sex.

Well no matter how old you are when you meet the right guy. You better grab him and hold on to him. After he gets here I imagine Jay and I get around to having sex once or twice every 24 hours --- maybe less. LOL. I bet when the sex drive does start slowing down both of us will be ready for it to and ease right into it.

Last week on Thursday he was pouting for hours about the sex we had that morning, telling me I was mean to his butthole and couldn't play with it anymore. Then later on I started trying to move in on him and he made me kiss his butthole and be nice to it to make up for being mean to it....

Yeah..Like that was some sort of punishment!!!!!!!! LOL. I had the man yodeling.

More power to those who want to abstain from sex, it is their body and it is their choice. But don't come to me and act all high and mighty and like you're a better person for choosing not to have sex. It is those people that act like they're so good that they're above it all that irk me. Don't judge me and I won't judge you!

I beg to differ.

I do admire asexuals (i.e. anyone who freely chooses not to have sex, incl. celibacy and abstinence). I'm not saying they're better than others, but they have my admiration:

a) It's always brave to go against the majority.

b) It's even braver when you know you're going to be ridiculed and insulted by the majority and you still do it - which is clearly the case of asexuals, most people see them as freaks

c) It's even more admirable when you're right and the rest of the world is wrong - not necessarily the case here, there's nothing wrong or immoral about sex, even though I do believe our society is too 'sexual'.

there's nothing admirable about abstinence and self-denial. it's pointless. if you naturally don't want sex (??) that's another thing, but if you have to repress yourself in order not to have sex, that just makes you fake. no matter how morally high you try to elevate it, still fake.

not to mention, sex is amazing and part of a healthy way of life. you have to have a few screws loose upstairs to want to abstain from it.

Virtue / heroism, etc. is all about making the toughest choices and the tough choice in this case is abstinence (i.e. renouncing pleasure).

But again, I'm not saying that abstinence alone will make you better than everyone else.

I wouldn't say it's insanity. Renouncing needs would be insanity.
A pleasure is not a need, so it's not so crazy if one chooses to renounce it.
On the other hand, I wouldn't say it's "heroic," either.
