Gay spots in New York
#1
Well, I'm gonna live in New York for a few months starting next month and I don't want to rely only on those dating apps in a city like that. Any New Yorkers on the forum who are willing to suggest a place to hit in NYC? I'd love to date someone in the Big Apple, I just don't know where to go.

are you looking for a bar or club?

If so, you can start here. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=gay+bars+in+NYC

If you want to meet someone another way, you can think of a hobby you enjoy, and type in your zip code and put 'gay' in front of it, and you'll find people who like to do the same activity.

Example.....do a google search on "Gay hiking 00000" but replace the zeros with the zip code you are currently staying at. It could be anything. "gay bowling", "gay cooking class" or anything.

Or something like this - big list of general social groups. some of them might be a bit crap but you don't lose anything by trying

http://gay.meetup.com/cities/us/ny/new_york/

I'm a big fan of Meetup, it's a shame it hasn't really caught on in Belgium very much Sad

I'd agree with CellarDweller re: going with whatever you're interested in. Or even try something brand new - putting yourself out of your comfort zone (within reason) is never a bad thing Smile

Meetup seems really nice, and I'll take any suggestion you may give!

Are there peep shows in nyc that can accommodate wheelchairs? My cousin is gay and confined to a wheelchair. I want him to at least experience oral gratification.

What kind of vibe/crowd do you like? If you just want to look around and see a mix of stuff, take the 1 train to Christopher Street or the A to West 4th and walk around, that's the village, there's all kinds of bars in that neighborhood, including the more iconic/historic ones. Further north, Chelsea and Hells Kitchen are other big neighborhoods for gay bars.
