Safe to eat lubricant?

I'm going to have sex with another guy soon, using condoms of course.

I bought Durex Classic condoms and wondered if the lubricant on it was safe to eat, for oral sex? I checked the site and all it told me that only the flavored condoms had safe edible lubricant, nothing about the classic condoms.

I'd try it myself right now but I only bought a few, I'd prefer to keep them all just in case...
