Halloween & Horror Movies
#1
7 days till my favorite holiday - Halloween! I hope everyone is in the Fall and spooky mood. We've been having some really nice Fall weather in PA. I hope you all have as well.

This is my favorite time of year and I've basically been watching horror movies nonstop for the last 24 days! I have AMC Fearfest on my TV all the time.

I was wondering if any of you have any horror movies or Halloween themed movies that you love to watch at this time of year?!?!SpiderBlackbat

Horror movies are my favorite on the small screen and this week I have watched the George Romero remake of Night of the Living Dead...also Gangs of the Dead and Cabin in the Woods.

I noticed Hellraiser on my ROKU Amazon page so I think I will watch that next. It isn't really Halloween for me though....I watch them year round.

I watch them year round as well. I love Hellraiser! I also liked Cabin in the Woods. Today I'm going to be checking out the new movie Leprechaun Origins. It's probably awful but I'm curious about it since I used to watch the old Leprechaun movies. I'm interested in seeing how this one compares. Thanks for your input!

LOL we part ways on this one. Sad I have never been a fan of Halloween, don't like horror movies, and can't wait for it to be over. I know this is not a popular opinion, especially in the past few years with the zombie obsession, but, there it is.

Thats okay! I can respect that. Horror movies are not for everyone.

This year I have been pretty slacking in my horror movie watching. Last year I did a challenge that was posted on another board where members each listed a horror movie they watched each day of October.

I have been watching a decent amount of Supernatural, maybe that counts? :p

I might watch "Versus" today, though. A Japanese Action/Zombie movie.

I'll watch Hellbent for the fun of it. It isn't great cinema, but it's a gay guilty pleasure. Jeepers Creepers(Jeepers Creepers 2 is so close to homoerotic that's worth watching too). Joy Ride, not just for Paul Walker's nudity (but I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a bonus). The Exorcist is a favorite. Evil Dead 2, but only because its fantastically funny horror. Alien and Aliens (the rest of the franchise... meh.). Poltergeist, for fun. The Mothman Prophecies and Cloverfeild. Probably The Ring.

I can't do the Saw series. Once was enough... It just isn't fun for me.
