Bing is Microsoft's version of "Google". They try to sneak it into all their software adding BING search bars to your Explorers and try to make it your homepage.

Bing is such a loser search engine..........and it really pisses me off when they try to assimilate my computer into such an inferior hive mind.......give me Google or give me death.

These days it's all about ADVERTISING than it is actual SERVICE. Otherwise, why would I need to get a new phone book from the phone company 4 times a year?? That might be a slight exaggeration, but not by much.

Along the same lines as how Microsoft keeps trying to be a contender with Google by sneaking in and trying to shove BING down my throat even though I DO NOT want it. Especially since they've tried so many times to sneak it onto my PC.

BING actually works quite well... Just a thought.

Who knows. I just click on update whenever I see the message pop up.

That may be... however, I (!!!!) want to make that choice, freely of my own will. Because I found it to be a superior product. Because it's so great word of mouth in the majority says it's the best. NOT because I was lead to believe it was my only option. NOT because it was hidden in other software and snuck onto my pc. NOT because they repeatedly forced it to be my homepage. NOT because they're trying to compete for profit and bending the rules in their favor.

They've burned a bridge with me. I will never use Bing because of their practices. EVER.

Something was bugging me about Bing, but it may just have been that it didn't LOOK like Google. I'm too used to it, probably because when you get older you become afraid of change. Oh god where's my pill organizer?!

I think most of Flash/Reader's updates are security related. Flash in particular has had a billion of them.
