So I will only say this, where I am from, it's possible

So I will say this...
Hang it there and don't let anyone think it's crazy.

Adam Wrote:Hello, John. I'm in the same boat. I live together with my partner 6 years already, and we want to make our family and our life complete. We want to have kids. But people around us only blame us and call us stupid. It makes our way to dream much harder. But I think, that everything is possible, if you listen to your heart and follow your dream

Who is blaming you and calling you stupid and why? Why would anyone be surprised that any couple, gay or straight, wants to have a family of their own?

I'm sorry to read some of the off putting comments. Coming here is a PERFECT way to enhance your efforts to seek information and support. You might get the specifics you seek at GS but we are a family of loving, caring people who WELCOME you and look forward to being a digital part of your quest! Good, bad, right, wrong...WELCOME!!! I LOVE you and yours checking into the process of promoting family and inclusion.

Now personally, I'd like to encourage adoption over surrogacy, but my very best friend in the world has a wonderful seven year old daughter now through a selected and paid donor. Her daughter is AMAZING and their life has been amazing. You do not have to be married. You MUST be stable. Stable usually means gainfully employed (not wealthy), healthy both physically and mentally, and able to provide a nurturing environment for the healthy rearing of children. That's it!!!

You can SO make this happen. I encourage you to heed the feedback about prep work. Do your homework and DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT. Keep a running date log of events, efforts, findings, milestones and a calendar for planning and structuring the process.

Lastly, COME TO GS!! You will always find someone willing to give you a hug and welcome your greetings and concerns! Life's too short to speculate over something requiring action. Set your course and make it happen! Xyxthumbs

People around me think, that the only reason for me to have a child, is to look normal. But they wrong. I have the same reason as straight people - I want to give my love, I want to have a complete family. I grew up in a loving family, where I was a centre of the Universe (I'm still a centre of the Universe for my mom) and my family made me understand, that a life is senseless without children. Not for everyone, of course. There are "childfree" and so on, and so on. But for me parenting means everything!
