Various little gifts from close family.

Christmas/birthdays etc - do you put thought into gifts you buy others, or just get them a voucher/money etc

I really really suck at giving gifts...honestly.

I think My mom is the one person I get, so her gifts are always thought carefully.

With my dad it's hopeless for a good number of reasons, and neither of us are particularly offended by lack of presents, so we just don't give them to each other (We also both agree to focus money and spending on my mom and sis).

My sis is easier, cause she struggles financially sometimes so my gifts are always something she needs or wants but can't afford.

Outside of that...I only have to give gifts to one other person and said person I know quite well so it's not that tricky.


What can your aqcuaintances, friends, significant other can expect when meeting your family?

that we're the quiet type when it's just my mom, brother, and sister.

Anything to do with chocolate, and pecan pie.

You wake up one day and notice everything is very... Quiet. You get up, do your normal routine etc... When/if you turn on the TV or radio, there is nothing. If you check here or facebook, there have been no new posts for three hours. Walking outside, you discover everyone has completely disappeared. What do you do?

No more work? No more paying for shit? Alright let's do this I think I'll first sleep till whatever time I see fit, then I'll begin to find a place where I can grow food supplies and spend time at the libraries reading everything, after a month or so probably get a shot gun and blow my brains out or something.

Which ever one doesn't involve people getting on my nerves. That leaves Independence day, new year, xmas out.....
