Ok so maybe Shia behaved like an idiot (again!) but Piers Morgan is overreacting.

Based on his description he sat there and let a woman use him as a marital aid, and then continued his "performance" despite apparently being traumatized by it. I believe male rape is a real thing but if you sit there and don't defend yourself or cry out for help it does look a little murky. Is staying "in character" more important?

I've had a hard time with this one. While what was done to him is terrible and taking advantage of the performance art(ist) I don't know how to feel about it. On one hand he could say fuck off and call security and continue on with his performance. On the other hand part of the performance art is to be completely silent and let what happens does as you submit control to the 'viewer'.

Marina Abramvoic is known for doing similar performance art but she accepts whatever happens to her is part of the piece and it's designed to get people talking. Either way it's helped put a spotlight on male rape which often gets ignored and anytime people get talking about issues some good has been done.
