Nobody is going to make a movie about my quest to try my hand at photography, or learn to cook some rather basic stuff, or see if I can do stand-up comedy. But I've enjoyed them all, and they've all been quiet successes to varying degrees.
i absolutely did not mean it had to be something big. i derive joy from small simple things in life too. for example, i once knew a guy whose touch alone was one of the best things i'd ever experienced in my life. it still is. and i'm not even talking about sexual touching.
just listening to a certain piece of music, or experiencing a hot overcast summer day, or a lightning storm, or just driving a couple of hundred miles with my friends....i derive pleasure from all of them. and that last one is one of the things always on my to-do list, no matter how many times i do it.
true, my own example was a big thing, but i didn't mean to set the tone with that. i love simple small things, and i wanna hear about them as much as the big stuff.
