Is it Rude to Eat on the Couch?

I really want to see the number graphic over the front... What number would a designer put there as opposed to some 8 year old girl in China? As it is, what a fantastic ass!

Kind of cool. Neo-brutalist meets Ikea meets modern. Not something you see everyday, which is good. But it is kind of taste specific.

All kinds of wrong.

I don't mind low profile modern (even though it's uncomfortable as fuck all), but this looks like a waiting room in an office. I mean really, what is that? The seating looks more like horribly uncomfortable day beds. The 'sofa' seat is far too wide. If you sat all the way back your legs would stick straight out like a four year old child.

Undignified.

Even if you could lean back, you're leaning on the wall. Those few unremarkable throw pillows aren't cutting it. There is good minimalist design and then there is this. And I know this is supposed to be upscale, but what is that fabric? If it's leather it's a waste of cow. It reads like shiny faux leather. It's awful, button tufted or not. Too damned much beige tack trying to look like ultra modern chic. Check the inspirational word/art graphics' on the wall? Utterly craptacular. My inner interior designer wants to slap the tacky off someone.

Shockingly ghastly.

What's not to love about a jewel toned, rolled arm, button tufted sofa? The brass nail head tacks give it a traditional edge. I keep looking for a repeat pattern on the wall treatment and I'm not finding it. If that's not wall paper, or a photo mural, it's a total spider den that crawls. I have actually seen this treatment done before and it's interesting - the rustic element in deep contrast with modern/traditional. Interesting until you have to dust it, that is. It's bad enough to vacuum floors, I draw the line at walls.

Since it's cracked cement and not polished cement it looks like someone left a lovely sofa out back by the woodpile. Why bother?

This post should have read, Less Sofas Without Menfolk! I hope you realize I love your work Rareboy. Most of the pictures I find in here are the inspiration for the 'Oh! That's who that is' thread. Who knew I could shed so much pre-ejaculate? It's like the Rareboy weight loss system. Try getting Marie Osmond to hawk that diet plan on the television!!

Oh, yeah. My contributions. (Pictures you fools, not sopping boxer briefs!)

That's probably why I like him. We have at least one thing in common.
