Hmmmm...this is like musical chairs for me....
Now my favorites are Lynn and Richie
With Lynn...I LOVE that he is honest....I totally get what he is saying. I know for me...if I ever lose my lover...I have nothing left to really give anyone. He will always be my true love and no one can even hold a candle to him for me and not because there is anything wrong with anyone else...they just will never be able to take his place...and I would be blunt and honest about it like Lynn was...and I wouldn't let anyone else invest their energy into me because it would be very unfair to them. I liked it because you never really hear anyone talking about that and it is exactly how I feel as well....
Patrick and Kevin ...UGH for both of them. One thing I could never do is go out with someone who is with another guy and going behind his back... or even have sex with them...never did it KNOWINGLY my entire life (and I was quite a slut once upon a time)...I was just an ethical slut LOL. There were a few times I did it unknowingly...and I was pissed off and definitely never did it again. I can't help but put myself in the other guys place.
I am glad Richie has moved on...he is too good for Patrick.
The thing he said about waiting in line is SF for Ice Cream and other crap...LOL...SO TRUE! I never understand it.
I think the writing is getting better....

hi guys
Looking was not really for me at the start.. it really took some time to develop and seemed to be shot on such a low budget.. i did start to identify with it towards the middle of the first season but life was too busy and i didn't prioritise watching the rest of the season..now its winter and i could use some fun tv at home i think i might give it another go..
BTW has anyone seen the new UK series by the same writer as Queer as Folk.. Its 3 different series running on different tv formats with the same characters vein followed more closely in each series.. Cucumber is the first, Banana the second and Tofu the third..apparently all representing different states of erection! The series is supposed to be like th new generation of Queer as Folk and is receiving positive reviews..
Im british but not living in uk so my dad, bless him, is watching it and thought it might be something for me and my partner so is sending the DVD of the first episodes in the post..
If you haven't seen it give it a go!

I have heard good things about that show^^^...and I want to watch it...
Looking last night was interesting....honest portrayals and dialogue of real gay guys and "the dance" they often go through on the way to becoming friends or lovers...
I actually liked Patrick a little better now....

Very moving episode here with Doris's father deceased. With a couple of good twists (I hope) towards the end?
Those actors are really really good, I must say. I also wondered where I'd seen Mary Kay Place for the last time. Probably Modern Family, but I can still remember her performance in New York, New York all those years ago. She was not a patch on Liza, but then she was definitely not meant to be (for the plot).
This episode called Looking for a Plot is not because the writers have lost their story. It refers to Dom's father. Whew! This episode was kind of emotionally draining.
