Two guys here and isn't really an issue either way, but he sure bitches if I don't flush. Can't seem to explain saving water.

If I had a dog the lid would definitely stay down. Nothing like doggy loudly lapping from the toilet and then coming to give you a nice wet kiss!

Have never tried trapping a cat in a soapy toilet bowl and flushing to give kitty a bath. Sounds fun.

I'm a dog person and have not lived with women since I moved out of the house after high school. Can you tell?
