Isn't that subjective? I could never say that or even think it....it is so foreign to me. That would actually be the guy I would avoid if I ever looked for one online. When the bar closed and I had my work done we had these local gay papers sometimes I would read and the classifieds were full of self described "good looking guys"...like how do they know? Did they do a survey?

Well, they must be. And the reason they're placing personals instead of just going out and meeting people is because they're SOOO good looking that everybody is too intimidated to speak to them.

I think it's got a lot to do with the personality of the guy who hears people say that to him. They are already wanting/needing to believe it before they hear it. Like the people who see prosperity gospel televangelists on TV telling viewers all they have to do is send in money and god will make them zillionaires. Some people are real vulnerable to what they hear from others and some don't give a shit what they hear from others.

Anytime a guy starts in throwing compliments my way my first thought is to ask him why he's trying to shove a 5 pound bag of sugar up my butt. But I sent in $32,000 to Peter Popov cuz he promised me god was going to pay off all my bills for the next 300 years.....

All this talk is inspiring a whole new thread for us to have fun with...... I'll see if I can get it up fast......
