From the mid 70s to the mid 80s a cartoon aired on ABC network called "The Super Friends", which was basically a very watered down version of the Justice League. The line up was Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Aquaman. Other heros that appeared were Green Lantern, Flash, Atom, Hawkman & Hawkgirl, and 4 heros that were created for the series, Black Vulcan, Samuari, Apache Cheif, and El Dorado.

The "sidekicks" or "Jr. Super Friends" were The Wonder Twins. A brother and sister from the planet Exxor, they were shape shifters. The brother (Zan) could turn into any water form (liquid, vapor, ice) and the sister (Jayna) could turn into any animal form. However, to use their powers, they had to touch their fists together to "activate" the powers.
