Well I don't drive, but I have been a passenger in many near road kill experiences, and many actual road kill experiences. Sadly, out in the countryside, you get loads of animals jumping out onto the roads from the fields. Deer being one of them. One leapt out in front of my dad's car once, and we smacked right into it. It was stunned, but ran off. I don't know whether it died later or not though. The damage to the car was hefty. My dad had to drive with the steering wheel at a 45 degree angle to go in a straight line to get home!
TPBM has an unusual phobia.
