We'll do better than that.
We'll call students we know in Forensic Tech Dept of the Community college here and get them to swab down the hotel like a rape crime scene. hahahaha!

WHAT !?!?!? That multi-tiered sugary white wedding cake is THE main reason why I go to weddings!!! It's like the pay off for having to sit through a wedding !!! I hate weddings... but I LOVE the cake !!!! A wedding without cake is like sex without the orgasm.

There'll be a cake with icing but it's got to have some sort of taste other than sugar. We might start working on a memorable flavor you'd enjoy. Read more here. hahahahah!

The traditional wedding cake has a top layer of fruitcake which is preserved by soaking it with booze and eaten at a much later date. My great-grandparents ate theirs on their 25th anniversary.
And no, it was not frozen, it was simply pickled in booze and then probably wrapped in cheesecloth and soaked with more booze and perhaps buried in a big tin of powdered sugar.

Wedding cakes made of pound cake are pretty but nearly tasteless. I sort of like the idea of having several cakes of various sorts. Maybe you could have a small traditional cake with others also.

I did go to one wedding that had a chocolate and banana cake, but that might elicit some pretty ribald jokes.

For god's sake, don't do cupcakes. That is just tacky.

I am very happy for you Virge. And by the end of June, there is a good chance of marriage equality in all 50 states.

I am sure you boys' wedding will be a fabulous affair!

There's actually no logistical problem avoiding the delay of wedding photos. The only thing that creates the delay is the superstition that a groom should not see the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding. Strip away that superstition, and there is no issue.

Most weddings have a rehearsal dinner. If members of the wedding party attend dressed for the wedding, then pictures are taken the night before. Incidental pictures taken during the wedding or reception don't cause delay, only the endless pics of parents, attendants, etc.
