So two ladies from the coordinated care unit came out, spend 2 hours 45 minutes here yesterday.
They are arranging a lot more than just doctor appointments, they are sending me information on how to get a (free) cellular telephone, and they gave me the phone number and instructions on how to use their taxi service to take me to any medical appointment (doctors, labs, imaging, etc). They even will arrange Physical Therapy once Doctor signs off on it - meaning I can have a therapist come to me place and put me through my paces.
Apparently my answers and what my doctor(s) has said thus far has caused a bit of concern with someone. Apparently I'm eligible for a care-giver to come and take care of me. Wash my clothes, do my dishes, cook for me - clean up after me.... Treat me like the royalty I really am (and so many of you continue to ignore when addressing me)
Ain't that the shits? 2013 I was a caregiver, 2015 I can have a caregiver give me care?
I declined maid service, cook and a few other things... For now. They are also going to send me lists on affordable housing and other things.
They also asked lots of questions and wrote down two pages of 'advice' such as ask my PCP for ________________(fill in the blank) and directions on who I take various ailments and complaints too. for instance the lower back pain should be taken to the neurologist and not just pain specialist.
I think I may like this obama care thing....
