Do you often buy lottery tickets?

I'll buy once in a while (bimonthly) just for the thrill

Nope. I can fantasize about winning without buying a ticket. And my odds don't statistically change by buying one.

There is no lottery in my state. So I play about once a year, when I leave the state.

I buy a few scratch-off tickets when I have some extra cash. When the office goes in on the really big jackpots, I do that too.

I will buy an Oregon Raffle because there is a 1 in 250,000 chance of winning a million.

I also sometimes buy a Win For Life, Powerball or Megabucks.

I only buy lottery tickets in other states when I travel for work. And yeah, I suppose that makes no sense, since I never buy them at home. It started when I was in NH with a colleague and she wanted us to go in on a ticket for some huge-ass lottery jackpot...and now it has become sort of a ritual.
