Well, six seconds that changed the music world, anyway….
I'm creating this thread because the BBC reported on this subject today (well, yesterday now), that actually goes back to an audio documentary that was made in 2004 about a six second drum solo that was first recorded almost 40 years before that!
Here is the drum solo, and I'm sure most of you will recognize the rhythms whether you're aware of their origins or not (played regular speed, sped up and slowed down):
