Oh I'd better just add a disclaimer - the chat at the top isn't exactly buzzing most of the time anyway.. Usually one of us says something then someone replies 16 hours later. It's easier just to post in a thread to be fair.

There have been times when there's been quite a few of us, and then peope trickled in and out of the chat rooms, but I guess you're right, there are times when they can be quite deserted. It only takes one person in there to get the conversations started though, as I've often found.

People are up at all times of the day and night. Since this site caters to people around the world, depending on how good their broadband is, there will be people online or not... they might well not be in the same part of the world as you.
