I said "are you my friend?" because the advice you gave is identical to the advice my friend gave me in the anecdote I told in the previous post.

I think your advice is well intentioned, but I don't think you realize how inappropriate it is.

First of all, it has a very "no means yes" kind of vibe to it. The OP mentions that the guy explicitly states "Leave me alone." How can he possibly be more clear? You're advising OP to treat this guy like an object essentially; to disregard this mans feelings and wishes because he's something OP wants, like a fucking toy.

You're telling OP to pester this man EVERY DAY, pretending to be friends while having sexual ulterior motives. That is wrong and sick.

Your advice is terrible, disrespectful, creepy, and borderline stalky. When someone tells you they're not interested (particularly in such a clear and forceful way) then the correct respond is to LISTEN to what they say they feel, not say "Oh... you just don't know what you want."

If this was a RomCom from the 80's this might be okay. But it's not, it's real life.
