Is the expensive wine REALLY better?

There's some quite divided opinions here:

I prefer middle price white wines. I dont taste any difference between wines from 15 euros to 30euroa or higher. But i definitely can say that i taste the difference between cheap and middle price. Cheap wines taste bittery, acidic, mostly. So basicly all white wines i buy are about 15 euros (/dollars).

So...in conclusion...fine wines are like beanie babies. You get away selling them for a fortune..until everyone figures out that they spent a fortune on brilliant marketing....

Massive bottle of this, for £2.00.
Yum. Light, sparkling. The only wine I like without having to water it down with lemonade.
All other wine tastes like shite and smells like bad breath.
