Waxing, shaving or threading? - Personal Grooming
#11
I manscape if I think about it, once I notice it might be getting too long. Honestly I don't fuss over it that much lol. Been with a few handful of guys in my day now and no one complained.

One thing I've seen trends over the last 10 years as well, when I was first sexually active guys would maybe manscape but I rarely saw anyone do the full shave, now the other way around seems more common which is weird.

I believe a lot has to do with the Porn industry. You see all these clean shaven guys and porn stars who are idolized in the gay community who are all hairless. It's made guys inserue about body hair and everyone gets rid of it.

Personally, I find body hair sexy depending on the guy. Manscaping is appreciated I don't want to see a jungle. Just don't get rid of your hair legs and arm legs and armpits it's so weird. There is no need to cut those hairs other than pure asthetics. :/

Agreed, though I will say that grooming of the armpit hair can help to reduce the effect of body odour as sweat has less of a surface to cling on to Smile

exactly! a grown man who shaves off his body hair looks childish, inside and out.

Since when did shaving body hair become a reflection of a person's mental maturity?

since i've never seen a mature man shave off his body hair. the only ones i've seen do it were kids, literally and figuratively.

never even minding that, it is a reflection of mental maturity.

So? Your point?

I don't really see how any of that is relevant. As I say, everyone is different. Just because I shave my body hair, it doesn't mean that I'm mentally immature. It's just a matter of preference Smile

I shave off my back and upper arm hair, and occasionally get my back waxed, though with the rate my hair grows, waxing doesn't actually delay the regrowth much more than shaving does. But the rest of it I leave, much prefer a man with body hair to a man with none at all. Never understood leg or chest waxing, looks so much better hairy Wink, all in my opinion of course. Each to their own Smile

I'd say that judging a guy's "mental maturity" by what does with his body hair would be a better judge of a guy's "mental maturity". My personal opinion, of course.
