"If you think a guy is gay, he's gay.
If you think a guy is interested, he's interested.
No exceptions."

when he first said he had a girlfriend, that can be an automatic defence mechanism - it shields him quickly from any commitment to new people like when he met you...he then doesn't have to say he's bi ,straight or into you etc...im just guessing there but as you say...he has not mentioned her since - if he's asking about keeping in touch when you travel to me says he's definitely waving the gay/bi flag or at least super happy in your company imho - if you are not desperate for a relationship this very minute then I would continue as you are to see how thing unfold - or just start dropping the hints that you really like him

We started the conversation about the topic once, and we were talking about in culinary industry, there are lots of gay people in downtown area. Also interestingly not so much countryside. That's his discovery and stuff. I don't remember how that conversation ended but at least I know he's fine with it.
I had a friend before and he was talking to me about girls and even trying to force girls on to me so I told him the truth, told him I'm gay and stuff. From that moment on, he just automatically ignored me as a person. No matter where we ran into each other, he pretends I'm not there and just walk by. That's also why I'm kinda scared of tell this guy now, I don't wanna lose a friend. I know he wouldn't mind me being gay but just the fact that would lead him to realize I'm so into him, that'd be awkward.

That's the dream I'd say, Lex. I wish.
