It's a pretty basic setup....just for fun

Yamaha p70 keyboard connected via Yamaha UX16 USB-midi interface. Mic is an MXL USB.006. All running through GarageBand on a Macbook Air.

We also have Event SP 8 Powered monitors, but we're having issues with one of the amps - it's crackling too much to use. In the meantime we're using Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

The cracking on the event monitors most.. times is a capacitor. .. my first pair were 20/20 BAS's and the popped..

Easiest senario the input block is corroded. . Usually if you move the input cable around and the popping gets worse you can tell..

(Caig contact cleaner for corroded contacts)
