I took in 2 Maine Coon Cat Toms for friends who moved out of the country for a few years. That was 3 years ago and they've finally decided they aren't coming back and asked me if I minded keeping them permanently... Hahahahaha! That's funny because I'd spent a lot of time figuring out how to tell them they weren't getting their cats back.

They love our three dogs, are great with kids and company and prefer to go out to do their business than use a litter box --- even in 30 inches of snow.... and they love to cuddle up at night.... and always happy when we get up in the morning.

I wanted a main coon *ive actually never seen one in real life* but ive read they do indeed act similar to dogs in allot of ways!
but then I went to my local shelter and found Cameo
I cant believe she was ever placed there, her eyes were matted shut and she was sick.... she has a heart of pure gold though , shes ma little rug monster aka gremlin, aka walking carpet, aka fuzzball aka snuggle bug ^_^. Not that im psychic or something but I could tell me and her would get along I adopted her that day! she definitely keeps me company is a lap cat
