Toxic weed alert
#1
This plant was imported by the Victorians into the UK (don't know from where) and now I see it is in America. If you see it anywhere in the world DO NOT TOUCH!

Wait seriously? I have this plant growing at the back of my house.

Are you sure this isn't just social media hysteria?

No media hype TigerLover. What the article says is 100% true. It's very dangerous. I suggest you get it removed by professionals.

JEEEEEEEEEEEz I hope it never gets here!

I found a good picture of it with the leaves so it will be easy to recognize.

Thanks Virge. It grows to over two metres tall so shouldn't be too hard to recognise.

In the UK there's another plant called Cow Parsley that is not toxic but it is much, much smaller that Giant Hogweed.

Wiki said it grows up to 5.5 meters!!!!!!!!!! I suppose that means for warmer climates with longer growing season that we have here.

I found out the hard way about Poison Ivy in South Carolina back in 2006 and spent more than a week covered in blisters. I'm going to remember this evil plant.

I think I've seen it growing in my traveling along highways.
