Honestly, I put "mixed group" because it seemed the closest to "other" as an option. There was literally nothing in the list I could identify with considering I'm pansexual. That first and foremost wasn't exactly pretty to see. There is no "pansexual and single" option. Or rather, a "pansexual"-anything option, yet there are options for bi people?

Secondly, I'm not even as sensitive as I made that out to be. I just didn't like the idea of someone who doesn't understand me making personalized jokes about who they think I am. I never meant to enforce how I felt on other people as if it's their responsibility. I was having a bad day yesterday and I made a mistake.

Lastly, I'm not one for explaining my life experiences or history for the community's consumption. I'd rather just make a friend and talk to them about it. Love that the thread got hijacked, though. How thrilling.

There is no pressure here, just curiosity that I hope is a healthy interest in others. Now, what I might suggest is that you tell Andy to add a pansexual box or two in the list.
Personally, I also think you can refuse to tick that box altogether if nothing corresponds. Is that still an option, guys?
