when people tell me to be positive or that things are going to be ok I get annoyed sometimes. It's like being force fed saccharin by barney the dinosaur for me. I'd rather people were just honest and say yeah things are shit. I find this a lot more comforting and its a real breath of fresh air when I find these people. This can turn a 4 into a 5 or 6 for me.

If you look at my posts I have had a great time interacting with you.. and so many others here could say the same...
I've always viewed you as witty, brilliant and to the point..

I had no clue you were going through lonliness and depression to that extent .

I am generally content with my life & surroundings. I seldom experience great joy or great sadness,,, just something in the middle.

Being content is an achievement which seems to have come my way as I got older.

So,,,,,,,,,,,, I am a steady 5 on the scale of happiness (always in the middle).

Oh no, Anocxu, you haven't set me off at all. That's just the way I am. Thank you for the kind words and thoughts, but there is no reason for your heart to be broken. It all comes from something and there is probably no remedy.

As for the crockpot, I may have moved onto pressure cookers now. I hear they are good for letting off steam.
