Starbucks was originally a hippy kind of company but its turned into the next tesco, soon they will be selling flat screen tv's and car insurance.
Buy a coffee from your local you will find their 10x better and your helping indivudual businesses instead of paying a rip off for starbucks shit which is shit.

Clearly you've never been to Aberdeen. Coffee shops here = SERIOUSLY AWFUL, and Starbucks isn't that bad, as you've already said yourself. I like it, it's like shopping in GAP. I really don't care how much they pay their slaves as long as the coffee/clothes live up to my expectations...

Starbucks is shit cardshark.. I dont like them dont agree with them and cant stand coffee.. I beleive in supporting smaller businesses as if u support a bigger chain u arent spoilt for choice and smaller shops will fade away until we are a state of national companies

In brighton cardshark if u go to the gay department of brighton your see a starbucks there and on every cash machine your see a sticker saying BUCK OFF STARBUCKS which incase u dont get it its ment to say FUCK OFF STARBUCKS.. The business area around st james st in brighton have held weekly protests outside the store and BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL have had to now take action against this giant as they opened unlawfully and the council has told them that they are NOT allowed to sell coffee on a eat in process they can ONLY do takeaways and they have been ordered to remove all tables chairs and other items but do starbucks listen..... NO they just pay a back hander like a few gay pubs i could mention.... Tongue

Isn't there any decent tea shops? Scotland generally has a few of those.

In brighton we got a few but there is one tea shop that has a list of rules including no elbows on the table and at four in the afternoon you must stand to the national anthem.. I have avoided this shop as i would feel a right twat... I dont do all this posh bollocks in tea shops end of the day if a tea shop wants to implement this ill go to the local cafe on the roughest council estate so i can sit there belch swear and fart without being looked at funny hehe
