Don't be ashamed.

You should try listening to your friend. Get over your insecurities, this is your life. If he rejects you, atleast you know and can move on. If he doesn't reject you, you can get married in a few years, adopt some kids, buy a dog and live happily ever after.

The only thing about him I don't like is the fact that he is Catholic and I don't like any religion. Besides that, even my friend at work who's trying to be his friend told me that he is too perfect , she couldn't have any negative thing to say about him besides the fact that he is very rich .
