Vetinary Advice?
#1
Hey all im here for some guidance again (hopefully)

So...i got made redundant because the company i worked for went under sadly. so im currently out of work and doing the best i can to bring in funds for the family etc.

I now have a problem with one of my dogs. he has a tumour on his face (non cancerous) which needs removing but is going to cost around 6-7 hundred pounds (which sadly i just dont have at the moment)
I went to the PDSA and they can not help me because our house is bought and we do not get housing benefit or council tax benefits.

Also tried RSPCA and their response was pretty much this..."we cant help everyone"

So i paid for consultations at a private vet which were 40 quid every visit. And i also paid my last 300 quid savings for xrays and some steroids to try slow its growth down.

Now im in a pickle because this tumour is still growing and i can not yet afford to pay the 700 quid to remove it and get a biopsy as advised by the vet.

I have spoken to 3 different private vets in the area and because i am not registered with them for over 12 months they will not allow me to pay monthly or weekly for the treratment.

Does anyone know any other charities that may help?
Im stuck here and my poor dog is suffering Smile

Hi Jamie: Sorry that I can't be of any immediate help, you seem to have tried most thing. The Dog's Trust seems to specialis only in re-housing dog. There is just one other thing you could try. Take a look at this:

https://www.bluecross.org.uk/veterinary

I hope you have some success.
