As a child, I had one foot half a UK shoe size bigger than the other. Not sure if that's the case now. They look pretty similar to me.

I used to go to my buddy's house which was a kilometer away near the river to play with his SEGA, I was not fortunate enough to have one as my mother was and still is not a big fan of video games, I had to get all the fun I could from this guy.

Both my feet have always been half-sizes, and half-sizes are incredibly rare now, so I always used to end up with shoes slightly too big.

In fact, I still gets shoes that are too big, but for another reason.
I have really wide but stubby troll feet.

I feel you, I am size seven and a half and have had to make do with eights or even sevens, right now I have the perfect seven and a half but generally finding trainers that fit a complete nightmare, a process that can take hours and still not being happy with my choice.. but I've also had a perfect seven and a perfect eight on a few occasions.. which have been more like seven and a half

I tend to stick to size 9 with a wide fit.(means a small toe end gap, but I've honestly given up looking for a perfect fit)

Skateboard shoes with their padding usually fit well, and also fit my well established style of not having any.
