Keith Wrote:yes, iam too skinny......... Nonsense! I wish I had that problem. I swear they put fat in the bottled water here. I have to run 7 miles a day, eat nothing but ruffage for months just get rid of 20 lbs... The sad part is that I need to lose more than 20 lbs. So you might look at yourself and think you don't look good because you're skinny but I will tell you there are people who would envy you. Being told you're too fat by other gay guys isn't the best thing for one's self confidence. The way I look at it is that you're healthy, handsome, if someone doesn't like thew way you look it is their loss.

Well no one likes "fat" guys. Yeah there are exceptions, people assume you lack self control and self respect because certainly you guzzle down donuts and cake and sit on your ass and do nothing. Some people just can't lose weight easily.
Still takes me back to the a-holes who called me fat...among others things related.... I know I need to lose weight but I wouldn't classify myself as being fat. It is subjective though, some people might see me as a beached whale while others might find me appealing. However, no one can deny that they judge by someone's looks...Oh I've heard it all on the dating apps, but everyone does it to one degree or another.

I wanna be a little bit thicker(which means fatter actually, i do not know why i put thick here) coz i easily feel cold no matter if its winter or summer(AC is cold sometimes). I did an experiment. i ate four meals for one month(3 meals is normal), I thought i could gain some weight if i eat in the evening, but it turned out that i lost 1kg........god knows why. Ha, its tough to lose weight. My teacher told us that, "if you wanna lose weight, eat watermelon only for you dinner. that`s how i lost 20kg." do not know if its healthy but i bet watermelon could be a nightmare that way.

Some people just can't lose weight easily. I know how you're feeling. You are talking to someone here that used to be 5st heavier than I am now. I know all too well what a monumental struggle it was to get the weight off. I struggled for well over a decade. For what it's worth, looking at your pics, I wouldn't call you fat at all. The people that taunt you for that are indeed, shallow minded assholes. And yeah, there are lots out there unfortunately. But people like that are not worth your time. There are plenty of people out there that aren't as shallow too. Personally, I have been attracted to slim and bigger guys. But then that's just me I guess

Cridders88 Well in my case I'm most attracted to slimmer, twink-like guys...not so much the model type. I like a little belly fat on skinny guy I think its very attractive...don't know why but I just am. Interestingly enough I discussed a similar topic with the guy I've been dating.
I always have a hard time wrapping my head around someone who is very handsome, has a nice physique and yet feels insecure about how they appear. It is sort of humbling knowing we do share similarities in those regards. You might find yourself good looking but someone else might think you're perfect.

You've hit the nail on the head there with that last sentence. We all have different tastes, what's average for someone might be gorgeous for another. I have always been a bit concious that whilst I am now slim I do still have a bit of a wobbly belly lol. I have learned to embrace that now and realise that not everyone wants a washboard tummy and, to some people at least, it is attractive.

I will have to agree and I do know that if I ever do lose enough weight I will probably be in the same boat, it just doesn't retract. I just don't want to gain anymore weight making that problem any worse. I am going to try to make an effort to get in better shape. It has been 18 months since I quit smoking and that was the second part of my goal, but being in between jobs over the summer and the new job is mostly a desk job it doesn't make it any easier lol
I've been getting up at 5:15 AM to get on the treadmill...it is dark when I go to work and getting dark when I get home and winter is starting to set in too. I think I might be able to get the weight off in another 18 months hopefully...if I stay committed to it...I think that is a healthy rate to lose weight, probably could do it faster but I think if I try to change too many things at once I'll probably fail like I did in 2012. Tried to quit smoking, changed my diet, starting running all the time...lost 26 lbs and ended up totally burning myself out. I also look back in hindsight that I was doing it for all the wrong reasons, I thought that if I looked good that someone would like me...which I'd had to say was also a bit shallow of me, even though I knew better than to think that.
