Yeah...the thing is...Tina does a lot of covers and some...I love ...like HELP (Beatles Classic)...but most of her stuff I don't think is as good as the original....I love Tina though... I remember when Bowie worked with my favorite artist....Chaka Khan....back in the 80s..on Labrinyth...much better...

Here is Bowie with Chaka, Luther Vandross and Cissy Houston (who is Whitney's Mom)...I had Cissy Houston LPs back in the 70s..before I ever heard of Whitney..and I didn't like Whitney very much....
