It blows my mind that people could seriously find Clinton's faults more concerning than Trump's. You guys really surprised that gov corruption exists? That the Democratic Party wasn't going to throw their support behind an Independant who changed his party to run for president? And is it really a bad thing that a politician has changed their mind on issues rather than remaining stubbornly and blindingly stagnant in all of their positions?
If you don't like Clinton, then at least compare the platforms of the two parties. If that still isn't enough, think about Trump having the power to nominate Supreme Court Justices.
Im happy to see the major parties splintering, but again, if you are an angry democrat and you want to support the Greens instead - lets do it for real, don't just cast a protest vote because you're upset Bernie is out. I'm not ready to deal with all the hate the Greens are going to get if Trump wins, on top of all the other shit he is going to bring in with him.
And seriously, if you honestly think Clinton is a bigger threat to this country than Trump, the Green Party, with the pillars of social justice and environmentalism, probably isn't the party you should be casting your protest vote for anyway.

If you feel the Green Party or the Libertarian Party or whichever is worthy of support, why not vote for their candidates for local offices or lower offices than president to allow them to develop and show their ability to deal with issues in a forum where you can observe them and their success.
There is no question that this election has demonstrated that we need to encourage more participation by more people. It is amazing that casting a vote makes one more aware of how things are going in the future. I hope more people will do it.

It isn't about "comparing faults"! I cannot stand Donald Trump, and Imhave NEVER liked the GOP platform, but that has nothing to do with the FACT that Hillary Clinton participated in Election Rigging!

At what point? The point 2 weeks before Trump announced, when Bill Clinton visited Trump at his home. That day, the media were waiting outside Trumps residence and asked Bill why he was there. Bill said, "Trump was asking my advice on wether he should run for President. I told him he should."

The other thing that peeves me about Hillary is the email server. Not so much the fact it existed the fact she lied and continues to, caught by the fbi. What infuriates me is they wont touch her. Trump has his hand in shady deals, but at least he will be brought to court. Money brings you power in this country but Hillary has something more, shes an untouchable and THAT ticks me off more than perhaps it should.

what worries me is that here in the UK where we have just had political upheaval but it doesn't effect things on a global scale - but the USA elections can have world wide implications - and both candidates turn out to not be the most trustworthy people left in the running - although Trump scares the hell out of pretty much the rest of the world , he's even insulting a family now who lost a son fighting for your armed forces - that's got to be a new low by even his standards

~Beaux Again, im not here to tell anyone how they should vote. By all means vote for Stein if that's what your heart tells you to do. I'm just voicing that I'm legit scared of Trump, of the Republican Platform, the people who support Trump, and the people he might put into power.
I do not believe that voting third party is a wasted vote. I just don't think that a third party president will be elected this year. Jill Stein is not some flawless messiah that will save us from Clinton and Trump. Again, I'm glad the democrats are angry and I'm glad so much attention is being given to Stein, and I hope she makes it into the debates. But there are not enough Greens or angry Democrats to get her elected, yet. And without more Greens in the government, she won't be able to implement their platform anyway.
Short of a revolution we are stuck between Trump and Clinton.
So when I personally weigh those two, it's clear to me which is the less terrifying choice. The things that Trump supports and what his supporters want vs what the democrats want in terms of immigration and exclusion acts, lgbtq rights, the rights of people with disabilities, and race relations are things that will directly effect my life, the lives of my friends and family, and the communities I live in and work with.
Maybe I'm an idiot for not seeing Clinton as such a sinister person as I see Trump. Maybe I'm a bad Green Party member for not jumping on this situation and actively encouraging more democrats to vote for Stein. I'm probably a hypocrite too because as a registered Green, I will most likely vote for Stein too. All I know is that Trump and the people behind him honestly terrify and disturb me, in a way that Clinton and the democrats don't, and running away to Canada is not an option for me and my family.
Right now I'm just encouraging those who are not registered as third party members but who are thinking about voting for a third party candidate this election to consider if their feel good "I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils" protest vote is going to feel as good and righteous 2 years into a Trump presidency as it will on Election Day. Because even republicans who hate Trump are endorsing him and going to vote for him. Not even Ted Cruz and his followers (does he have followers?) are going to vote for Jill Stein. It's the democrats who seem much more fractured right now. And the Greens have already been blamed for one awful president. I worry it will hurt the Green party's credibility and momentum if we get blamed for another. But that sentiment does put me at odds with Stein because she really is trying to get that Bernie vote.
Anyway, I'm just ranting because I'm very unhappy with the people and the systems in this country right now and I'm scared for its future, regardless of who the next President is. Not even Stein is equipped in my mind to solve all the social issues we are facing. You have every right to vote how you want. We are headed into a shit storm regardless.
