Pubic hair

I have to trim a little(not brave enough to shave) for personal reasons.

Eh, I should probably ask: Does anyone have any tips?
I always put it off for far too long, but that's mainly because I almost always cut myself.Sad
REALLY really wish I didn't have to put sharp objects near my genitals...
(probably a bit TMI, but I can't really pull myself to actually care...)

Can't you use a beard trimmer?

just trim the the edges where "split ends" are likely to form, you have to cut off these weak strands of keratin so that the edges will feel raspy and rough, you'd feel tougher and more manly x

I do.
Unfortunately, any kind of pressure seems to force the skin through the guard.

I just realised, my situation is probably pretty unique, and I would have to be very explicit to adequately explain it.

It's probably best if I just ask if the members here have any experience with blade-less hair removal methods.

So try a guard that keeps the skin further away from the buzzer. Use just enough pressure to contact the skin, then trim very lightly. When you get used to that go to the next guard until it is OK.

I have not used bladeless creams, etc., but they my be uncomfortable. Try them on less sensitive skin first.

Have you considered just going to a cosmetologist or asking your doctor for help or recommendations. There is no need to be bashful with the doctor. Believe me, they have seen it all and are there to help.

I just use a pair of scissors. If you are careful enough, there will be no mishaps lol. Never tried using a beard trimmer.

There are a number of body and beard trimmers out there. I used to use hair cutting clippers to manscape - using a guard on some areas and no guard on others. I would occasionally nick myself so I bought something specifically designed for the body. I have had no problems with trimming/shaving since - with or without the guard.

As for those that think it takes some exorbitant amount of time to manicure body/pubic hair, it really doesn't. A few minutes every few days to a week is nothing. You spend more time brushing your teeth every day...hopefully. Smile

I prefer trimmed or natural on me or whoever I'm dating. No hair looks weird

Also I use a beard trimmer for down there. Works perfectly and easy. Keeps everything around the same length too

Trimmed - I got a Philips body groomer shaver just for this purpose , I could shave though as that's just to strange - especially since someone I talked to said it was like looking at chicken parts shaved, that just put me off shaving for life with that thought in my head for life lol
