I love every second of game of thrones because I'm in it deep, but a lot of my once favorite characters are boring me this season. Maybe I'm just impatient but I feel like they are like walking super slow on a busy street and standing on the left side of the escalator. I just want them to hurry up and move, there's shit they need to be doing.

Seriously, though. That phalanx-like system Ramsay deployed. A shield of walls and spears, encirclement, tightenting the noose. Seriously, Hannibal would have been proud. Fritigern too, although Adrianople was a bit different.

Wow, what a finale. Darth Cercei to rule them all. Arya was sooo good. Anybody as not-surprised about John Snows parentage reveal, yawn?

If the last episode killed me, this one brought me back to life. Next year is going to be so intense, I can't wait.I knew the Snow reveal was coming. But I still loved it. That episode gave me everything I wanted from it. I kept having to pause it and explain it to my friend who has never watched GoT before and I kept being like, you don't understand what a big deal all of this is.

Do you guys think Cersei knew Tommen would kill himself?

The thought may have crossed her mind and she accepted it as a possible outcome of her revenge. I mean, sending the Mountain to stop Tommen from going to the sept, is a strong indicator that she didn't want him dead. He's collateral damage. Burn him, bury his ashes, bye.

overall ... house stark won the season. from jon to sansa to arya to bran. granted rickon didn't survive, but did he really have a POV chapter in the novels?

it was epic! yes; cersei had her pyrrhic victory but the writing is on the wall. cersei's end game versus dany's end game. and we know the great war that is still to come with jon and the white walkers.

sam's end game is to find out how the first men defeated the white walkers.

too bad the last 10 episodes per season is now over. a compressed season 7 and 8 with only 7 or 6 episodes left per season.

still ... this is what makes GREAT television!
